We have a variety of bespoke services to match your needs! Whether you are a writer looking for someone to bounce ideas off of, a developer in need of a team bringing new ideas, or a company interested in having a speaker at a local event, we have options ready for you. We can match you with local scientists, or the best from around the world, and find scientists with the right knowledge for you. We can even match you with scientists who speak your language (literally); just let us know what your native language is.
We recruit the best early career scientists to help you. Depending on your needs, we can match you with graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and young professors or researchers who know every detail of the science, and can explain it to you, put it in context, and fill in the broader picture.
Most graduate students barely earn a living wage for a single person, and they may be in graduate school for 5 years or more. After graduate school, scientists normally take on one or two postdoctral positions, with short contracts, low wages, and minimal job security. By providing a little extra income, and at the same time re-energizing their excitement about being a scientist, we hope we make life a little bit better for them.
Our business is helping professionals reach scientists and helping scientists reach businesses. Our mission, though, is to improve the lives of young scienstis, help them build connections and careers, and encourage women and underrepresented minorities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We are dedicated to providing funding for scholarships and fellowships for deserving young scientists, and dedicate a portion of our profits to that cause. You can feel good about working with us!
Credit for the name goes to Greg Bonann, who hosted me and many of my friends during our first years in graduate school. Every time we walked in, we'd hear "Ah, the Young Geniuses have arrived. The average IQ in the room just went up 20 points." During that time I realized that there was a connection missing between our worlds. People working in entertainment want to get things right, and want to hear about new exciting scientific breakthroughs. People working in science want to see good science on the screen, and are happy to share their excitement with anyone who will listen.
This idea started moving again years later when I realized that this might be an opportunity to help women and underrepresented minorities in STEM.
